Panaji TOURISM ..................................................................................................................................................................................
Calangute Beach The beach is very crowed during daytime with both locals and tourists who hang by the beaches until late hours of the day and night. During the hot days, Calangute beach in Goa is awash with tourists of every age and nationality sunbathing and heading down to the sea. It regularly features art exhibitions and shows throughout the dry season.
There are lots of shows held on the beach including rock, pop beat shows, open air dances, and fetes. Stretching over an expanse of seven kilometers, Calangute beach is known by the sobriquet the Queen of Beaches for its pre-eminence among the scenic beaches that dot the Goan landscape. The beach that once rendered super hit movies secured laurels for itself. It also is the most commercialized. This is part of a 30 km stretch of beach coastline along the west coast of Goa by the Arabian sea. Panaji | Marmagao Harbour | Mapusa | Madgaon (Margao) Pilar | Ponda | Vasco-Da-Gama |
