Cavelossim Beach Cavelossim beach is much quieter as well as cleaner as compared to other beaches around. The beach is 7 km south of the famous Colva beach, continuing the chain of beaches started from Colva to Verca beach. Most of these people who profess the beauty of Cavelossim Beach are foreigners who are used to visiting beaches of different countries across the world.
The best time to visit the amazing Cavelossim beach comprises of the months of November to March. The soft sands of the beach seem to be covered with black lava rocks at certain intervals. The amalgamation picture perfect paddy fields, the scintillating Sal River and the soft sands create the ambience for the unforgettable beach bonanza. The chief attraction of Cavelossim beach is the trips on small boats for dolphin watching. One of the finest places to let your hair down and enjoy to the hilt, the Cavelossim Beach lies between the Arabian Sea and the Sal River. There are numerous beach shacks offering a variety of Goan dishes and seafood at reasonable prices. Activities that can be added as attractions would be dolphin spotting, boating and fishing. Besides the items of daily needs an amazing array of Indian crafts and gifts are also available. Panaji | Marmagao Harbour | Mapusa | Madgaon (Margao) |
