House of Seven Gables House of Seven Gables – near Largo de Igreja Square is this elegant Portuguese mansion and important landmark in the Margao city in Goa. The famous House of Seven Gables or Sat Burzam Ghor is a magnificent mansion was commissioned in 1790 by Sebastino da Silva, emissary and private secretary of the Portuguese Viceroy. This ancestral home of Eurico da Silva has drawn tourist attraction over the years. However, do not look out for seven gables because there are only three remaining now.
