Sri Kapileshwaraswami Temple It is situated about 3 km to the north of Tirupati, at the foot of the Tirumala Hills. It is the sole Shiva Temple in the town of Tirupati and houses the shrine of Sri Kapileshwaraswami. It is one of the most recommended places to visit in Tirupati and should not be missed out at any cost. The temple enshrines Sri Kapileshwaraswami. This is the only Siva Temple in Tirupati. Waterfalls in this place are an attractive sight especially in rainy season.
